About the team

You will join the Finance Team in our head office in Amsterdam where you will take care of Mambu’s revenue recognition and collection, ensuring financial compliance, and optimising Order To Cash related processes within the organisation. You will work closely and report to our Head of Tax, Treasury, Payroll and OTC and together with your team of 3 FTE you will own both the financial revenue reporting requirements (IFRS and local GAAP) and the related billing and collection processes.

• You will be the linking point between finance and commercial teams in relation to OTC
• Responsible for revenue reporting and accounts receivables for Mambu globally
• Managing billing and collections processes for Mambu globally
• Coach and develop your team of 3 professionals in different locations
• Developing strategy for revenue recognition and collection processes
• Advising sales, marketing, and product development teams in relation to revenue recognition, billing & collection and financial aspects of customer contracts
• Analysing revenue data, identifying trends, and support strategic decisions for revenue growth
• Managing and overseeing technical revenue accounting aspects related to customer contracts
• Preparing revenue related inputs for Mambu’s financial statements and be accountable for the related financial audit
• Interacting with commercial teams and customers for billing, collection and dunning
• Liaising with internal and external auditors

• Eagerness to make a difference
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional work experience in a Finance or Accounting function
• Deep knowledge in IFRS in relation to IFRS 9 and IFRS 15 in particular
• Proficiency with ERP (especially NetSuite), Excel and G-Suite
• Understanding of billing and collection processes
• Good people management and people development skills
• Can-do mindset, eager to improve the quality of processes and related output
• Detail-oriented with an ability to also see 'the big picture’
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in fintech and/or SaaS is considered a plus
