About the team 

 

The Office Management team is here to help Mambuvians have an outstanding working experience. They are the main key driver of all initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our offices. We are looking to hire an Office Manager for our headquarter in Amsterdam, to create the best work place experience for our 300 employees in the Netherlands. Mambu has 3 office managers in different parts of the world, all reporting to the Head of Business Operations in Amsterdam.   

What you’ll do

  • Supporting a local community, ensuring that our Amsterdam HQ office is fully operational, processes are running smoothly and the Mambu office reflects our company values in a mixed work from home and office environment
  • Owning local facilities needs for our office
  • Supporting the onboarding of new Mambuvians
  • Managing the day-to-day office operations which includes vendor management, health & compliance support for the office and be the contact person for any office-related issues as well as guests to our office
  • Supporting the organisation of meetings, workshops, and other team events / initiatives
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Mambu culture - internally as well as externally
  • Managing the back office which includes general office organisation, coordinating deliveries, ordering equipment and other office supplies
  • Providing operational and administrative support to ensure that all office related operations run efficiently
  • Collaborating with other regional office managers to deliver company initiatives on a regional and global level

What you’ll bring

  • You are a friendly and open person and always try to deliver the best possible experience to the people around you 
  • Extensive experience working in a  similar role
  • You know when to handle sensitive topics with confidentiality, you are able to easily integrate, adapt and create a network 
  • Health and safety measure knowledge 
  • Outstanding time management, organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate reliability, accountability and a sense of responsibility
  • Experience in managing different stakeholders and preserve and share cultural values in all interactions
  • Experience in  working with budgets 
  • Great command of English language
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, get stuff done and make an impact
