• Be a servant leader for one or multiple Product teams by guiding people in their career path and supporting growth opportunities for each engineer (training, conferences, learning materials, mentors, etc.).
• Define a way of working in teams that enables high autonomy, high alignment, and a streamlined product engineering process.
• Be the driver throughout onboarding new Mambuvians in an efficient & scalable manner.
• Work closely with the Product Manager, Engineers, and other Engineering Managers to enable the teams to deliver.
• Ensure that the roadmap is successfully delivered, on time, and within budget.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2-3 years of hands-on team management.
• Strong leadership skills in regards to establishing trust, transparency, direction, and goals.
• Strong people management skills, able to understand people's ambitions and align them to the organization's needs, and offering constant guidance and feedback to achieve them.
• Solid hands-on background in software engineering and operations.
• Strong plus: experience with Java and its development ecosystem.
• Strong plus: experience operating web-exposed services and APIs in production and at scale.
