What you’ll do

As the Senior Manager, Talent you will be responsible for defining a global talent management strategy that enables us to drive a high performing workforce and unlock business outcomes. You’ll use your knowledge, a sound understanding of our business and a dash of creativity to shape and evolve programs through which we can identify, develop and retain high-performing Mambuvians within the organisation.To do this, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business and put diversity and inclusion at the heart of all that you do.

 

Talent Development:

  • Design and implement talent development programs, including training, mentoring, and career development initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a talent review framework that includes identifying high potential employees, succession planning,development opportunities and learning pathways.  
  • Monitor the effectiveness of talent programs and iterate with a mindset of continuous improvement, or to respond to business shifts.

 

Performance Management:

  • Develop skills frameworks that support and enhance performance management and hiring practices.
  • Manage and iterate the performance review process, provide guidance to managers on best practices.
  • Drive our performance goals and objectives setting process across the business.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related topics.

 

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace by implementing relevant policies and practices.
  • Influence across both the people team and the business to ensure that Mambu operates talent practices which underpin and nurture a diverse talent pool.

 

Talent Analytics:

  • Utilise data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent management strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on key talent metrics and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve talent management processes.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Talent Partner/Manager or in a similar role
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent management or a related field.
  • Experience of leading experienced talent and/or HR teams
  • Experience of working in a global or regional role
  • Experience in a high growth and/or SaaS business
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing development strategies.
  • Strong understanding of performance management and employee engagement practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HR software and talent management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to talent management
