What you’ll do

About the team 

 

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will support the business to build, develop, implement and support the Go To Market Strategy for the country/countries. While expanding our Mambu footprint in-country, the BDM will seek support from the regional commercial organisation in areas such as Marketing, Sales Execution and Partnerships. The Go To Market strategy will be executed in close collaboration with the wider team by leveraging data driven strategic decision making while daring to do things differently. 

 

What you’ll do

  • Ensure financial goals and objectives are pursued and reached; 
  • Contribute to annual New ACV target for market/region based on the GTM Strategy by ensuring the right pipeline coverage ratio
    • Achieve annual pipeline generation target for market/region based on GTM strategy 
  • Contribute to growth strategy; 
    • Researching and analysing the industry and market developments to contribute, define and own the go to market strategy with the BDM 
    • Support sales pipeline build and support the BDM to meet the targets
  • Oversee and participate/drive daily operations and engage in customer activities; 
    • Build and maintain an in-country network of key customers and influencers
    • Closely collaborating and aligning with marketing department to build targeted campaigns
    • Closely collaborating and aligning with Partner Managers on target accounts to create opportunities
    • Attend & actively participate in country (prospect) events
    • Triage MQLs and Partner leads and then determine whether they continue to engage with prospect or pass onto an AE if appropriate
  • Ensure the overall delivery and quality of strategic data insights; 
    • Supporting Solution Engineering to deliver country specifications & requirements alongside Product for Product Roadmap 
    • Deliver regional and country competitor analysis (part of GTM)
    • Deliver regional and country trend & opportunity analysis (part of GTM)
    • Set and track country commercial KPI's/GTM reporting for evidence based decisions
  • Identify prospects (short, mid-term and long-term) by active outbound to drive pipeline development plans.
  • Nurture target accounts to sales-ready stage, by effective external stakeholder management and account planning 
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional internal stakeholders, such as marketing, SE,  partners, 
  • Ensure data hygiene for the CRM and other sales tools used
  • Work alongside MSD to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Attend in-person conferences, events and customer visits as required.
