About the role
As a Product Manager responsible for our Configure Mambu product portfolio you will be responsible for core horizontal service capabilities that are critical to our customers before they go live and during the initial setup: from Identity and Access Management, to service provisioning, product configuration, and self service capabilities in line with a cloud provider control plane. We are looking for someone who can unify this portfolio with a clear value proposition on what are the key long-term differentiators that we want to offer in each space. You are expected to work closely with engineering, solutions engineering, and customer success teams to understand the needs of external developers and customers, streamline their workflows, and create intuitive, well-documented solutions. On top of that there’s space to grow and help define our longer term vision for self-service and onboarding at Mambu, enabling faster platform support and go-to-market.
Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Create a product roadmap that balances customer insights and business objectives, with a clear & logical rationale that is easy to consume.
Identify new and existing Platform Products that we can better position to deliver more value to our customers and our business.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
Collaborate closely with engineering, Commercial, Marketing and delivery teams to prioritise features, define requirements, and drive product roadmap.
Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features based on user insights and data analysis.
Utilise tools like AHA, Jira, Slack, and Confluence to facilitate communication, project tracking, and documentation.
Monitor product performance and KPIs, implementing strategies to optimise user engagement, retention, and revenue.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Past experience on a more technical product role is preferred.
3+ years of relevant experience in product management roles within horizontal platform services, especially if within the FinTech space
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex products from conception to delivery.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery and strategic objectives.
Working knowledge and experience with product management tools such as AHA, Jira, Slack, and Confluence.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
Passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
