About the team

Join our Infrastructure Services team and help shape the next generation of our engineering platform for greater scale and efficiency. We’re modernizing by eliminating legacy systems and adopting a cutting-edge, fully automated, test-driven, Infrastructure-as-Code environment to enable seamless daily deployments. Your expertise will directly enhance profitability, innovation, and reliability, building a secure and cost-effective platform for Mambu’s future.

• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to set strategic direction, identify tech opportunities/risks, and lead platform modernization.
• Build and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and investment plans aligned with business goals.
• Establish and enforce organization-wide architecture and coding standards.
• Track and drive adoption of architectural principles, ensuring transparency on tech health.
• Mentor Infrastructure Services teams to foster quality, innovation, and alignment with objectives.
• Oversee design and performance of a scalable, reliable, and secure cloud platform.
• Ensure all solutions align with standards, objectives, and customer needs.
• Lead CI/CD adoption, enabling predictable, high-quality engineering delivery.
• Drive engineering excellence while managing technical debt and timelines.
• Manage architecture budgets, multi-cloud costs, and vendor relationships for optimal efficiency.
• Provide leadership updates on modernization progress, risks, and mitigation.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies and upskilling teams.
• Define and lead the AI strategy, delivering impactful, ethical, and secure solutions.

• 12+ years leading mission-critical cloud infrastructure with a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution.
• Proven technical leader with deep expertise, strong decision-making, and a collaborative approach.
• Experience guiding engineering teams with a hands-on leadership style (e.g., code reviews).
• Expertise in AI strategy, machine learning, and deploying scalable, ethical AI solutions that drive business value.
• Skilled in enterprise technology standards, cloud cost management, and resource optimization.
• Current on industry trends in scalable architectures and modern technologies.
• Cloud platform expert: AWS (required), GCP/Azure (bonus).
• Extensive experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and large-scale migrations.
• Strong in observability (monitoring, logging, tracing – e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Advanced in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Solid track record with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
• Deep understanding of security principles and best practices.
