About the team

Join our Infrastructure Services team and help shape the next generation of our engineering platform for greater scale and efficiency. We’re modernizing by eliminating legacy systems and adopting a cutting-edge, fully automated, test-driven, Infrastructure-as-Code environment to enable seamless daily deployments. Your expertise will directly enhance profitability, innovation, and reliability, building a secure and cost-effective platform for Mambu’s future.

• Collaborate with teammates and tech leads to identify risks, opportunities, and guide technical direction within projects.
• Contribute to project-level architecture and roadmaps aligned with team and product goals.
• Promote coding and design best practices to ensure quality and consistency.
• Apply architectural principles and track the health of the team’s codebase.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering innovation and alignment with objectives.
• Design and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure features that enhance the cloud platform.
• Ensure solutions meet organizational standards and project objectives.
• Improve CI/CD practices for greater visibility and predictability.
• Drive engineering excellence, delivering on time while managing technical debt.
• Optimize cloud resources and costs within team projects.
• Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to tech leads or managers.
• Stay current on industry trends, sharing insights to upskill the team.
• Contribute to AI solution implementation, ensuring ethical and secure adoption.

• 5+ years building and maintaining cloud infrastructure with strong technical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Proven contributor with solid technical depth, a track record of delivering features, and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
• Experienced in mentoring junior engineers and providing hands-on guidance (e.g., code reviews, troubleshooting).
• Familiar with machine learning concepts and supporting deployment of scalable, ethical AI solutions aligned with business goals.
• Skilled in team-level tech standards, cloud cost awareness, and resource optimization.
• Current on industry trends in scalable architectures and modern technologies.
• Cloud expertise: AWS (required); GCP or Azure a plus.
• Experienced with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and customer environment migrations.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring and tracing.
• Skilled in automation and IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Hands-on with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
• Solid grasp of security concepts and applying them to team projects.
