The Cards team at Mambu focuses on building and maintaining the card-related capabilities of the platform, enabling clients to issue and manage debit and credit cards through integrations with external processing partners. They work on APIs, transaction flows, authorizations, and partner integrations to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable card services as part of Mambu’s composable banking offering.

• Design and implement clean, scalable and reusable code using Java.
• Architect RESTful web services, both sync and async.
• Work with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the associated architectural patterns (serverless computing, configuration as code, containers, Kubernetes, API gateway).
• Contribute to development of CI and CD pipelines (GitLab, ArgoCD).
• Design and implementation of Cards features along with required infrastructure, scaling, performance tuning and optimization.
• Maintain application security by tackling vulnerabilities and doing penetration testing.

• 4-5 years experience (mid-level position) working in Java.
• Cloud Native Architecture (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Rest API design practices
• Scaling strategies knowledge
• Experience with MySQL
• Know-how of writing own tests (i.e. unit, integration, end-to-end tests)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microservices is a big plus
• Event streaming platforms (Kafka)
